Notes from Nancy Harmon . . . It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our dear brother, Jeff Brooks, passed away on Saturday, October 28th. As many of you know Jeff Brooks left this world and is now home with Jesus. I know many of you love and admire Jeff and Carolina as they have been part of your lives, some of you for many years. Jeff left a deep imprint on his wife, children, his extended family and an innumerable number of friends. We extend our condolences to Carolina and the family. Please keep Carolina, Aidan, Samantha, Christian, Sophia, and Sarah in your prayers, along with Jeff's extended family. May God's grace surround them during this time of sorrow. Jeff Brooks had been battling Glioblastoma brain cancer for the last 14 months. He is now celebrating his forever healing with Jesus! Carolina and her 5 children are grieving the loss of a great husband, a devoted dad, a wonderful friend to those around him, and a great man of God. Please help us pray and lift them up to our Heavenly Father. More than anything, help us to pray for Carolina, their 5 children and extended family. Our God is a good, merciful, gracious God who has been so good to direct every step in Jeff & Carolina's lives during the past fourteen months. Jeff has been so bold in his faith sharing Jesus with many people. We will have a Celebration of Life Service at Palm City New Hope this coming Friday, November 3rd at 6pm in the Worship Center. We will also have a meal open to all following the service. It will be an Italian meal for those that need to plan. If you would like to help bring an item for the meal, please sign up. When you arrive at church, please bring your item to the Worship Center Cafe. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus! |
