Thank you for your willingness to help! There are many ways that you can help, please feel free to join us and do what you are able to do.

We begin setting up at the park at 1:00 so we can begin serving no later than 1:30 pm.

We are planning for about 30 guests. Many guests take meals home for themselves, family, and friends as well. Extra food never goes to waste. If it is non-perishable, we can use it for the next potluck. If it is perishable, we donate food to Hopes House on Central Avenue in Summerville.

If you would like to help cook some of the food we have on hand or need a few items for what you want to prepare, please let Wendy know. We have lots of food that can be prepared. Having extra hands to help prepare the meal is a blessing.

If possible, please bring items ready to serve on Sunday morning. We will be able to heat some items before we leave but we need to know so we can plan. We do have coolers to keep the food hot before serving.

You are welcome to stay after the service and help with any final details. Be prepared for controlled chaos. It's fun!

When you sign up to bring an item, please give the amount you plan to bring so we can gauge if we will have enough and others can see if there is still a need for some of that item.

If you want to help in any way, please let me know!! You can help in many ways - preparing food, loading the vehicles, setting up at the Park, serving our guests, packing the vehicles to return to the church, and even helping clean up and put everything back away after the event.

You are welcome to come to the park and share the meal and conversation with our guests as well!

Able bodies are always appreciated! Volunteers of all ages are welcome to come and help out!

IF you know someone who would benefit from a meal, please feel free to bring them to eat with us. We can provide take-out meals afterward as long as there is food to share.
