Notes from Jen S . . . Okay, so a few notes. You don't need to include your phone# when you sign up! You can if you want but it's not required, especially if I have another way to contact you (FB or Discord, find links below if you need them.) We will probably get around 25-30 people total for this event. (I will update accordingly if I find out this is going to drastically change.) Not all the spots need to get filled, I just wanted to put categories out so we don't end up with 10 different types of chips and dip and nothing else. If you can't/don't want to make or bring something, monetary donations are great and will go toward the cost of the meat that will be catered and other things for the group. The specific items I have listed are SUGGESTIONS for each category. Those specific items do not need to be filled. Feel free to sign up for them if you'd like, or something else within the category that's not listed. We will have LIMITED ACCESS to electricity. We will probably only be able to plug one or maybe two things in. Please consider bringing something that is good at room temperature, or will keep warm for an hour or two without being plugged in. We will not have access to a fridge or ice to keep things chilled. Black Potion sells drinks, alcoholic and non, so please do not bring drinks of any kind. Please patronize the shop for all of your drinks for this event. Please be aware that we have several people in the group who have a variety of allergies! I AM NOT asking you to bring something that everyone can eat, however, if you do have the option to make/bring something that is allergy-sensitive, please do so. The allergies/food restrictions that I am aware of include: gluten/wheat dairy corn nuts Again I am not asking you to bring something that is free of all of those things, however, for example, if you are making something that is normally sauteed in butter but you can use olive oil without compromising anything, that would be a good substitution. If you are making something that has a nut garnish on top, consider bringing the garnish on the side and let people put it on themselves if they want/can eat it. |
