Notes from Manda Bogers . . . Dear Church Family, Once again, our beloved Advent Feast will be graciously hosted by Buck and Belinda Watkins at their breath taking and inviting property in Aguanga on December 17th (1:30pm). In preparation for this progressive dinner where we trek all around their beautiful farm tracing God's people from Garden residents to exiles, culminating in the birth of our Savior, we will be taking sign ups for help with the many food items at each of the stops, and for the various services needed for such merriment. It takes a lot of hands to prepare this festive journey in food and faith, and set up an event of this size. If you are able, please consider signing up in several areas. The dinner menu this year is Roasted Pork (prepared by the Newmans) with Apple Bourbon Chutney, Rice Pilaf, Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Buttery Rolls. Please bring a bottle of wine or sparkling cider to share with the meal. It does get cold up there, so please bring warm layers. Thank you! ~Manda |
