Notes from Julia Tustin . . . We are so happy you have decided to support the Bagged Lunch Ministry! Thank you for whatever you decide to do! It will be making a real difference in the day to day lives of the hungry. 1)If you would like to make a monetary donation instead of donating items, that would be a huge help as well. With increasing costs, the bread, bologna, ham etc total around $200 a month. Thank you for whatever you can do - any amount would be a blessing. If you would like to contribute you can drop off or mail a check to the parish office. It should be made out to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with St. Mary/St. Bernard on the memo line. 2) When signing up to donate, please provide your email and phone number on at least one line in case we need to reach you. 3) When possible, please put any smaller items in bags since they are difficult to carry into St Bernard when loose i.e. bunches of bananas, Little Debbie boxes, etc. 4) The requested items below help provide supplies to make 600 Bagged Lunches. St Bernard makes 2000 lunches a month so if all the lines are signed up for on chips, fruit snacks or desserts, St Bernard would love any additional items you would like to provide.
