Notes from Amy Dewey . . . Join us for a family fellowship meal, at 515pm, during which time we will learn more about the meal of the Eucharist and the themes of Maundy Thursday. Even if you are arriving late and cannot bring a dish you are welcome to join in the meal and fellowship preceding the service. (Eucharist with foot washing to follow meal in the Sanctuary at 6pm.) PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE bring whatever serving utensils are needed for your dish, as we don't keep any on hand at DCBC. We provide ONLY the paper products and eating utensils. If you are bringing a hot food item, please bring it in a slow cooker. We do not have the proper license to use the Del Cerro kitchen ovens or other cooking equipment. For cold items, you may place them in the fridge. For whichever dish you bring, you'll need to have it prepared as the serving team isn't responsible for preparing your dish. |
