Notes from David Zak . . . Join us for the Chicago PrimeTimers 25th Anniversary Picnic on Sunday, July 5, at Gompers Woods! CPT will provide a catered buffet lunch at 2:00 PM featuring Italian Beef Sandwiches and Chicken Limone from Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria. Please bring an appetizer, side dish, dessert, or beverage to share. If your item needs a serving spoon or utensil, please bring a disposable one with your dish. If you want to make sure your serving dish or utensils are returned to you, please label them clearly with your name. After lunch, representatives from PrimeTimers Worldwide will make a special anniversary presentation, and we'll take a group photo. The covered pavilion is available rain or shine. Guests are welcome to relax, visit, play games, walk the nearby trails, or bring a swimsuit for the nearby park district facility. Please note: no glass bottles or glass containers are allowed in the picnic area. There is no electricity or cold storage in the pavilion, so please plan accordingly. |
